I'm trying to extract a surface of a mouse skeleton from DICOM files for 3D printing, but there seems to be some sort of distortion -- the isosurface seems to be either stretched along the z-axis or compacted along the x-axis. I've used the exact same process with rat skulls before, and I've never encountered this problem before. Any information would be appreciated.

This usually means that the spacing in your DICOM (actually the per-slice IPP or image position patient) is incorrectly set. I would try and figure out (by taking a look at the acquisition part of the pipeline) why this is happening, and / or fix the z-spacing by using a vtkImageChangeInformation.

How do you connect the vtkImageChangeInformation module? I'm using the set-up from your STL surface extraction video.
