I am attempting to automatically generate PNGs from either DCM or MHD data on a Ubuntu 12.04 LTS server.

I have some pre-created .dvn's from using the GUI Version on my desktop however I want automate the process to rotate the picture and reset the X,Y,Z for each rotation and have it generate the PNG.

1) Has anyone done this before? Is their code somewhere on github or google code?
2) Is this possible to do with devide?
3) Do you have any recommendations on how to go about accomplishing this?

Dear Unnamed Person :)

You can use the DeVIDE Batch Mode for doing exactly this. In short, you can start devide up with a driver script and no GUI, and that driver script is able to load neworks, (re)configure and (re)run them.

Fortunately we wrote some of this up in the past:

Good luck,

Thanks for your reply. This is a truly awesome project.

I have a couple of more questions:
1) How do I call the slice3dVWR V.SetPosition Function from my batchmode script? I'm trying to set different values on a particular interval.
2) How do I call the save PNG Function?
