Video recording capabilities

hello all

I would like to record a video of a rendering with camera fly etc....
Is there a way to do this with the connected boxes or do i have to
write code for it ?

There is unfortunately nothing built-in yet to do this. I usually use
a screen capture tool (recordmydesktop on Linux or camstudio on
Windows) to make videos of some interaction, but this is of course not
the same as being able to specify a camera path for example.

Dear charl

in the snippets folder i saw some code specifying camera positions and
writing it down as png. I guess that can also be done as avi ?
would i paste this into the main introspection window ?

Hi,

following up on that the snippet code of rotatecamerasaveframes.py
seems not to be working i get the following error

NameError: name 'devideApp' is not definedTraceback (most recent call last):
File "<input>", line 18, in <module>
NameError: name 'devideApp' is not defined


do i have to import something else ?
