Hi all; hows everybody doing?

I just started using divide and its a wonderful tool. I have a question though how to create my own modules from c++ libs and headers.

Cheers

There are at least three ways to do this:
* Use ctypes from DeVIDE's Python
* Use the swig that ships with DeVIDE. Read the swig documentation for the swig part. After you've built your modules, you can insert them in a similar fashion to the adding VTK libs instructions on the wiki (see next bullet).
* If your code is VTK-based, that's the easiest. If you make a standard VTK module, you can just add it to DeVIDE. See this: https://code.google.com/p/devide/wiki/AddingVTKLibsToBinaryDeVIDE

Good luck!

Is there a way to have Devide convert a DICOM multi-file volume to single file format and export this out?

Sorry for the late answer, I have left the TU to start up my own business, and not all my mail is being routed where it should go.

There's a youtube clip doing exactly what you ask: http://youtu.be/4sPfX8f-NyA

The short answer is that the DICOMWriter module can write any volume data away as DICOM, but single file format or multi-file volume format.

Good luck,
Charl
