cannyEdgeDetection?

How do I use the cannyEdgeDetection? I would think if I just used ITKReader and piped the data into cannyEdgeDetection that would be enough. It is not enough. I get an error saying canny is expecting argument of type itkImageF3. While I am not sure what this is I am guessing it is expecting an RGB image or RGB volume. Can someone shed some light on this. If you can it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You cannot go from ITKReader -> cannyEdgeDetection. You can go from ITKReader -> ITKtoVTK -> VTKtoITK -> cannyEdgeDetection.
