Hi!

This just came in from Google Nigeria:

The Google Nigeria team is planning an event in the coming weeks that will focus on demoing the best of Google across devices, with an emphasis on mobile. The target audience consists of the media/journalists, mobile/telco partners, policy makers, content creators, SMB enablers, educators, social influencers and users.  The theme for this event is “Educate & Inspire”.

As usual we (Google Nigeria) would like to feature content from interested Nigerian developers at this event. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure from a key audience for your apps and solutions.

We are looking for apps that meet the following criteria:

  • Must be locally developed

  • Must utilize Google devices,  APIs or platforms in a way that is central to the app and obvious to the user. Examples of APIs or platforms include:

    • Android, Android Wear, Chrome Cast, Google TV, Google Cloud Platform, Chromebooks, Google glass, Google+, Drive, Maps etc

  • Incorporates user interface and user experience best practices

  • Must make sense in at least one the following scenarios:

    • Use in a living room setting

    • Use in a kitchen

    • Use for travel

    • Use in an educational setting a Student/Teen

    • For a young professional specially as it relates to a home office or transitioning seamlessly between work and home

    • Use on the go

If you believe that your app is ready for prime time and meets the above criteria.

Please complete this form before August 29th 2014.

Only apps which fit into the event format and objectives will be contacted.
