absolutelyThen they have the one with the chest sensor- helps read if it's too warm in the car seat and more. I really like that because I'm the summer with the seat being rear facing the air conditioning doesn't vent well in that direction in my opinion. So I bought the mini fans for my 1st child
so far the only car seats that don't have any or many recalls are the Nuna. I hate Nuna is doing a relaunch but they just want to be ahead of the curve! Cybex is nice but 12lbs is a lot! This is more time consuming than id l'd like lol
I decided I don't want to get my hopes up with Nuna rerelease because I have a month before my scheduled csection. Cybex seems just as safe/good but the 12 lbs car seat is a lot. Anyone have a cybex? Cybex also have over 20 conversions and 50lbs weight seat capacity for the dual stroller, which I need because I have a 2 year old.
Does anyone know if the cybex cloud T I-size fits in a bugaboo cameleon chassis?? I've tried googling but it brings up so many different answers I don't know what's correct? I don't want to buy for it to not fit!
It's because it's a newer seat, so it wouldn't have made it onto Bugaboo's official lists, because it didn't exist when the Chameleon was released. But it's likely Bugaboo will list Cybex Cloud Z or Cybex Cloud Q, which are the two previous models in this category from Cybex. If it takes one of these then the new one will be no problem. If it says Z2 then that is actually the same seat as Cloud T - they just renamed it to make it clearer.
What you could do if you want to be 100% sure is take the buggy in to your nearest branch of John Lewis, Mamas and Papas or similar. They will have a display model of the Cybex Cloud and if you ask them nicely, they will probably let you try it on your pram (you'll need the adapters, they don't generally keep them in stock) before you buy. You can then buy in store from them. They generally have some stock of infant carriers on hand, it's only if you are keen on a specific colour that you have to order in specially.
Cybex Car Seats come with a 3 year warranty. The Warranty is valid from the date of purchase and when supplied with a proof of purchase. Please retain a copy of your purchase receipt in case of any
The Cybex Cloud Q can be used as travel system with compatible prams & strollers. Of course we recommend that you use a Cybex pram or stroller with your Cloud Q capsule for the best functionality and for complete trust & peace of mind. However, the Cloud Q is also compatible with other pram & stroller brands. We strongly recommend you check with the pram brand for compatibility as they manufacture and test the adapters for the car capsules to suit their prams.
In Australia, the Cybex Cloud Q with the seat belt installation is universally compatible with cars fitted with a long enough seat belt. The Cloud Q requires a minimum depth of 620mm between the base of the vehicle seat to the back of the seat in front. See below diagram for more information. If you require further assistance on this, most Cybex stockists will be happy to take the Infant carrier out to your car to check that it fits.
We strongly recommend that you replace a seat after any kind of accident. This is because tiny hairline cracks, which may not be visible to the naked eyes, can appear in the plastic parts of a seat after an accident. These cracks can pose an increased risk to safety.
We generally advise against switching from an infant car seat (birth to approx. 12 months) to a toddler seat prematurely. Even if your baby's feet protrude outside the infant car seat or your baby can already sit, your child has not necessarily grown out of the seat. However, the CYBEX infant car seat is equipped with a level indicator (sticker on the seat cover) which tells you if your infant car seat is too small for your child. If the headrest is in the highest position and your baby's shoulders are protruding above the level indicator on the top edge of the seat, it is time to change the seat, as it no longer affords sufficient protection to the vulnerable neck and head area.
To provide the best possible protection, the telescopic L.S.P. protector nearest the door should be extended as far as possible. It is designed with two settings. If in the longest setting, the L.S.P. touches the vehicle door, then the first setting must be used instead. When the seat is installed in the middle seat, the linear side-impact protection (L.S.P. System) should not be pulled out.

Thick clothing prevents the harness from lying snugly against the body. This incorrect belt positioning could result in the harness slipping off the shoulder. For this reason, your child should wear everyday clothing. Thick clothing such as winter jackets should be avoided where possible. Once your child has been positioned in the seat, he/she can be covered with an extra blanket for warmth.
The Cloud Q is unique in that it has so many features and functionality than any other capsule on the Australian market. More features and functionality add more weight to the product. The Cloud Q is suitable from birth - 12 months. It is the only car capsule on the Australian market that has a reclining back rest, triple layer side impact head protection (Telescopic L.S.P system, outer energy absorbing shell, and protective inner head rest also adds to the excellent side impact protection), 11 adjustable headrest positions and integrated hassle-free harness adjustments ensuring correct restraint position making it safer, easier to use and most comfortable for your baby.
Yes. Together with the removable seat insert, 11 height adjustable headrest and harness positions (the length of the harness changes automatically when the headrest is adjusted) ensures the correct restraint position for premature babies that is ready to leave the hospital.
The ISOFix base is not available in Australia, it is only available with car seat-belt fitting method. The base can easily be fitted with a seat belt, the Cloud Q has a belt lock-off and a coloured coded belt path. We recommend you use a professional car seat fitter if you are unsure.

In Australia, the Cybex Cloud Q Capsule is the only capsule on the market with a unique recline feature. Outside the car the Cloud Q transform into a practical and clever carry cot. This means you are not restricted by the 2 hour time limit usually recommended for capsules. The sleeping baby can rest undisturbed, with optimal comfort in an ergonomically correct position.
