Dear readers, please find below the newsletter of the Western Balkan countries INCO-NET (project on Coordination of Research Policies with the Western Balkan Countries) providing news articles, event and call announcements as well as newly added links and documents. Many important documents and calls have been issued by the European Commission since the last newsletter has been published two weeks ago, the most important ones are: The final FP7 calls launched on July 10 which are a huge opportunity (more than 81 billion Euro) for researchers and businesses. The EC communication "A Reinforced European Research Area Partnership for Excellence and Growth" was published on July 17, it describes the main priorities of the European Research Area (ERA). and furthermore, we published the Conclusions of the meeting of the Steering Platform on Research for Western Balkan Countries, Tirana, 12-13 June 2012 which is the core policy platform, this time co-chaired by Denmark as EU council presidency, the European Commission DG Research and Innovation as well as Albania for the WBC and as host.
