Vacancy Announcement - Equal Access Nepal
Equal Access Nepal, an NGO working in the area of ‘Communication for Development’ invites applications from qualified Nepali citizens for the following position:
Position title: Program Associate
No of Openings: 2 (One based in Kathmandu and one in Jankapur)
Major Duties: Work closely in a team to coordinate with radio producers from different districts, guide and monitor their work on a regular basis; frequent travel to fields.
Develop scripts of radio program, research, identify & interview guests/ experts for program and record on location and in studio, ensure quality, final editing & packaging of the program
Desired Qualification: Well understanding on issues on Early Childhood Development, Quality and Inclusive Education; good documentation and reporting skills, sound skills on operating audio programming software such as Adobe Audition, Cool Edit; Ability to conduct background research; and at least intermediate degree in any discipline but candidate with mass communication and journalism background in university and experience in radio programming will be given high preference. Familiar with utilization of email, internet and new information technologies
