Hello Blue Button 2.0 Community,

Today CMS released a Request for Information (RFI): Request for Information; Health Technology Ecosystem. This RFI is an opportunity for you to provide feedback and ideas about the current digital healthcare ecosystem, including how CMS and ONC/ASTP can:

• Drive the development and adoption of digital health management and care navigation applications;
• Strengthen interoperability and secure access to health data through open, standards-based technologies;
• Identify barriers preventing the seamless exchange of health information across systems; and
• Reduce administrative burden while accelerating progress toward value-based, patient-centered care.

As a Blue Button 2.0 API user, your feedback is valuable and we encourage you to respond. You are are welcome to submit links of demo videos and screenshots in your response. Responses are due by June 16, 2025.

In addition, you may have received a Blue Button 2.0 API-specific survey last week via email. If you received this survey, please take a few minutes to fill it out as it will help inform our near-term roadmap for Blue Button 2.0.
