Issue with Blue Button Downloads

Hello!

We learned that CMS changed their interface on MyMedicare.gov in the last few weeks, and it's no longer possible to create new BB accounts. When our team members attempt to help our patients create accounts, they are often getting an error message. The error message states that CMS can't find the patient in their system, and they must call Medicare to create an account. Do you know if this is a known issue, and is this something that can be resolved? We rely on Blue Button data to support our operations and care planning efforts!

To update the rest of the community: 

This issue was found to not be related to the Blue Button 2.0 API but rather the Medicare.gov logins. It does not appear to be widespread and we are working with appropriate teams at CMS to determine next steps. If you are working with Medicare enrollees that are experiencing account issues, please have them call 1-800-Medicare for assistance. Thank you!
