Getting error "bfd_v2_flag not active"

I'm trying to use the v2 BlueButton sandbox, and I can get my oauth token just fine, but when I try to make any API calls against v2 endpoints, I get this error (with HTTP 404):

    "detail": "bfd_v2_flag not active."

}

In that example, I was trying to get data from:

https://sandbox.bluebutton.cms.gov/v2/fhir/Patient/-20140000008325

Do the CMS admins need to 'approve' my developer account to use the v2 API endpoints? I thought they were just open to use? I'm not attempted (or interested) in using any production v2 APIs.

Is this something I should email the CMS BB team about?? Or what am I missing/doing wrong?
