It seems like most of the time (maybe 60 to 75 percent) when I try to create an iso using DevedeNG in Ubuntu 24.04, the "creating disc" screen comes up but the ffmpeg process fails for the "converting menu0" task.  That task stays at 0 percent but the other tasks proceed.  Eventually the program just hangs because it hasn't realized that one task has failed.

The same project works in Ubuntu 22.04 so I wonder what has changed.

Any ideas as to how to debug this issue further?

Hi, I've had a similar problem, works fine in 22.04, but not in 24.04.  For a while I was running an old laptop with 22.04 just for Devede.  Eventually I uninstalled Devede and reinstalled the latest version by downloading the deb file from the website (package for Noble - 4.21.0)  This appears to have solved the problem.

Hope that helps
Andy

Yes, 4.21.0 from the author's website works for me too.
