Hi all

Ok, early reminder about our meeting this coming Tues at Spoke6, and some work overflow..

I've got two contacts who want Drupal work done - one probably some custom coding, the other theming, and Dave and me are both swamped.  So if anyone would like step up, I'd be happy to be available for debugging and guidance...

And, open invitation to post any questions, notes on projects, etc to our new Google group at dev...@googlegroups.com.  The cool thing about Google groups is you don't have to worry about bugging people since those who want to see less emails can just tune their settings to receive a summary, or just read the group on the web.  But those of us who like to be noisy can chat all we want...

I'd like to hear how that ILoveLocal thing is going, and Shanna about your tomato site (sorry I can't remember the real name of the site!  but it was cool...is it still live?)

In my slightly humorous talk about cloud computing yesterday, I mentioned a lot of subjects that have been discussed at the Tucson Developers Co-op meetings that I have attended. I even set up a small server instance at the Amazon EC2 in Northern California
and an account at the Google AppEngine. The crappy Wi-Fi connection at the PCMS site died just as I did a Remote Desktop Connection into my Amazon instance so I did not get to show much to the crowd.

Cool - I haven't tried AppEngine yet, maybe we can look at it on Tues.  Did anyone make it to the tjug meeting where they did a preso on Android development?  I think you can use AppEngine for Android...no?

My site is in half-life. IE it is still on Amazon EC2 - but I mostly leave it off unless someone wants to look at it, in which case I crank up the "instance" (ie. start the virtual machine.)  This saves me $.

aw...that's a shame.  I can give you free space on my co-lo server if you want...don't know how hard it would be to move, but if its just the files and not too much config stuff it might be simple...

Thanks for the kind offer. Too busy to think about that now ;)
