Hey,

For more information on the hackathon such as agenda for the day, rules and protocols, and REWARDS(!!!!!) visit DevCongress-MPower Hackathon and read under Event Details and comment or read other hackers comments under Comments.

Grab Your Ticket. It takes only 40 seconds!

Even though you can walk in and participate and win without a ticket, it's easier and favorable if you have a ticket. I mean, there will be no biases but a hacker with a ticket is greater than a hacker without ticket. What does greater mean to you? We expect 60 attendees. Never mind, we can add more tickets when the 60 runs out.

Make it easy for us to
  • Better identify you and prepare for you.
  • Pay you your reward without questioning your authenticity as a hacker at the hackathon
  • Serve you food and drinks. (There'd be a priority list)

It takes not more than 40 seconds to get your ticket so why postpone to another time? C'mon grab yours here DevCongress-MPower Hackathon tickets.

@DevCongress I am not sure if the iSpace landmark was properly geo tagged by the gmaps on Egotickets. If we can get the actual coordinates from Fiifi, I will up date the coordinates.

Anyone looking for directions should just click on the Google Map image under the event details and follow up on Google Maps service itself. I may need to improve the UX to make it more prominent.

Cheers

I'd try to get Michael to put together a map that show routes from a lot of places to iSpace. He did a really nice one, voluntarily, for the DevCongress 2013 and it was super useful. So yes, we'd get the coordinates for iSpace from Fiifi (@Claude is on it) and give it to @Alfred.

If Michael favors us, we'd have another option.

Please keep sharing the information with your developer friends. Apart from the fact that it's a hackathon, it's our community's get-together, kind of a reunion :)

Thanks.

Okay now, how weird is it that I was midway in sending @Yaw a mail
asking him what I could do to help with the hackathon that he brings
this up ?
Sure I'll be more than happy to help out.

I started work on the map to the event location but I soon remembered I did not have a first person's account on the route to iSpace.
Since I have never had the honor of being there myself, I wanted you guys who have actually visited the place to describe the route you took.
Any bus stops, taxi stations or important landmarks you went by can be included (no need to make it lengthy).
We wouldn't want people to follow the map up a one-way now do we ? :)

I just saw this URL today. Check it out, I'm sure can find a route which applies to you.
