TL;DR Sign up for eXchange on Friday, January 31, 2013 w/ Edem Kumodzi, Software Engineer at ThoughtWorks.

I wrote an introduction to eXchange. I also explained why the significance cannot be overlooked. (We do so at our own peril.)

One of our own, Edem Kumodzi has gracefully accepted to pilot eXchange come Friday, January 31, 2013. This is how eXchange works.

• We use Google Hangouts. Which means we're not meeting physically. It's online. If you wish to participate, sign up, get your internet connection working, install Hangouts if you don't have it already.
  
• We use Google Moderator to take questions for the guests. We created one already. If you have any question ahead of time, or during the hangout, please submit it there.

We still have not settle on time yet even though it'd be late afternoon like 2pm and beyond. Please comment and let's know what time works for you. Edem said he can make the sacrifice, for all of us. Isn't that wonderful of him?

A gist of Edem Kumodzi

Edem Kumodzi is a software professional with 6 years of experience building enterprise information systems, web and mobile applications. 

He currently works as a Consultant Developer at ThoughtWorks, a global IT Consulting firm best known for their agile approach to building software.

Prior to joining ThoughtWorks, he was Head of Product Development at Ringier Ghana, a swiss-based media company where he oversaw the development of various consumer web products such as Tisu.com.gh, Jobs.com.gh and AllSports.com.gh.

An avid algorithms enthusiast, he also tries to learn new programming techniques or solve complex problems on Codeforces or HackerRank in his spare times.

On the side, he runs 2 early stage startups, QuickBets (Online Betting Platform) & NoizeBox (Video Driven Network) and studies Innovation & Change Leadership at York St John University.
