According to the article https://towardsdatascience.com/visualize-programming-language-popularity-using-tiobeindexpy-f82c5a96400d Python is still one of the most popular programming languages and its popularity is growing again.

PHP is the fastest in loosing its position. Now its popularity is about the same as of JavaScript.
