Here is the latest message in our Forum & I take liberty of posting it here.....
'It appears from the responses appearing in the message forum that enough heat has been generated about the functioning of our community sanghas, whereever it is located. As I can see, the positives from the debate are the frank responses from the community based on whatever inputs they have from their sources, which need not necessarily be true. The moot question that needs to be addressed is " Why do we, devadiga members, allow history to repeat itself ". Why did we consciuosly permit pied pipers to lead us into such a dark alley ? Do we endow unbridled powers on the leader ? Are sufficient checks and balances in place to ensure that incidents like these do not boomerang on us again ? We have come a long way since our forefathers played music at the temples, submitting themselves to the service of the Lord ! We need not surrender before mortals, our community has withstood tribulations
for centuries and have emerged stronger. Our youth are bubbling with connfidence. If only we channelize their energies and motivate them to take up responsibilites of our Sangha, I see a vibrant Sangha emerging from the shadows of the present'.

'I think we have to forgive that person and move on ,even though the language he used is un-thinkably bad.
Also it doesn't look nice to respected Sangha members (some replies) to use the language being used in this board. I know how frustuated you are. Keep doing the good work'.

'what do you mean by CORRUPT ?????????????? would you please clarify Mr. Arvind.
have you ever come to Mumbai to see what is happening or just for the sake of talking you are saying whatever you feel like !!!!
I think you are not briefed properly about the working of the Devadiga Sangha, Mumbai which is working relentlessly for the cause of the Devadiga Community.
Here the commitee members, having a high profile thinking and by GOD'S GRACE are doing very well for themselves and well settled in their life, hence the question of being CORRUPT does note arise.
They have come forward and built a dream project, which till today, I think nobody can think of or say bad about what they are doing.
You are the first person of the DEVADIGA community who has passed such a stinging comment on MOILY'S,
You are letting your own community members down by passing such baseless comments.
If you feel that the committee members are corrupt (as the language used in your message) you should come down to Mumbai and face the committee members as you too being a Devadiga, I think have the right to get the exact knowledge of Devadiga Sangha, Mumbai and then pass stupid comments and spread bad thoughts and words among other Devadiga Community people - FOR WHICH YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY RIGHT TO DO SO.

' However, it is his ( Arvind's) personal opinion which i am sure will change once he knows the reality. Who knows he may be a victim of Mangala fraud and suffering from agony and depression.
Moreover, Mr.Arvind is thousands of miles away from Mumbai and might have drawn conclusion due to gossip mongering people around. Let us try to educate him and I am sure he will be most happy man once he know the truth about Mumbai Sangha.
For me, he is a bold guy who mustered enough strength to express his inner feelings. Time and again I am forced to repeat that we devadigas are very docile and meek in character...otherwise how one can let away the culprits of a fraud which was committed in public life in front of our own eyes, sucking the blood of innocent poor depositors like Arvind.
If we sit back and close the door....thousands of Arvinds will surely rise ....questioning the very existence of community forums which do not react to community needs & aspirations.
So let us take Arvind to our fold by clearing the misunderstandings...I am ready to offer travel Ticket to Mr.ARVIND for an an opportunity to witness 'the historical event of Devadigas on the day of inaguration of devadiga Bhavan- Regional Cultural Centre at Nerul, Navi Mubai on 24.2.2007'.
