I wanted to start this thread as a means of sharing various resources which can help us learn more about the language and how it is being used. I found this online language tutorial which seems pretty good, albeit the pace is a bit slow:

I'm looking at some voice recognition software that have phonemic awareness. I've found an add-on to pocketsphynx called http://www.politepix.com/rejecto/.

It's available for English and Spanish. I'm going to reach out to see if they're willing to extend this to Swahili. Would this be helpful? I'm deep in my pool of ignorance when it comes to both the tech and pedagogy of this :D
