Hi,

Today I did a few minor things:
1) i have made it possible to link to related entities in the lists. i think this will make it alot easier for admin's. the idea is that we will only offer powerful search capabilities inside the clause and document admintools. from there you can then click on the linked organisation, parent, tags, addresse's from the list.
2) i have fixed the autosuggest in the list filter, on monday i will ask a co-worker how to best implement a javascript listener to go straight to the edit page of the selected item
3) i have implemented a to string for clauses as well as autocomplete (its a two step process, first select a document, then enter the clause number and information type)

Aside from the todo items mentioned in 2), the main task I still have open is to adjust all the list views to feature the relevant filters (here i will especially need to figure out how to filter for the tags, since this ideally should be driven from multiple autocomplete boxes). i will also add an admin tool for tags.

tomorrow i will be busy with frisbee until late afternoon, so i will probably not be able to wrap things up just yet. but hopefully sometime next week.

after that i want to start working on the frontend. mainly starting to setup solr and the schema. i will be going to a frisbee training camp end of the month for 1 week, but i have internet access there and i will try to have all the server side stuff ready for the frontend, so that the Liip developers can implement the frontend in the first 2 weeks in May (*). its all quite tight, but its still doable .. we will have something .. just not sure yet how "awesome" it will be :-/

(*) Liip is the name of the company I work for .. they have offered to donate a vhost, a sys admin to setup the box as well as 12 man days frontend developer resources.

Hi Lukas

Sounds great! Do you know whether we can set up a first prototype with the actual development version this week to review the backend with stakeholder? I am interested in going through the voting to see whether this makes sense.

Regards,
Dennis

i will try to get confirmation on monday over getting a server at Liip setup. if not could we fallback to your server for now?

Yes. We can do that.

ok .. i have implemented a solution in the document admin tool. will add similar stuff to the other admintools tonight.

sigh .. the taggable behavior is making this needlessly hard. starting to wonder if we should just drop it. how much does it help you? we will need to add tag management for documents and clauses obviously, but it seems that by default the admin generator doesnt leverage the taggable behavior anyways. anyway i dont think i will have time to work on this, Dennis can you have a look?

so tomorrow I will then start on integrating Solr.

i have beefed up the addresse, organisation and clause list view some more. in the clause list there is some work left in terms of the filters, since most of the interesting searches need to happen on the ClauseBody.

like i said elsewhere, voting and the reservations probably shouldnt have a list view (if possible disable) and should instead be linked from the document/clause edit pages.

@dennis: could you have a brief look if you understand what i have done because i am not sure how often i will be online starting friday for about a week.
