Hi all,

I would like to deliver a milestone has a starting release. And I would like to know, what will be for you the minimum of features you would like to see ?

From my point of view :
1 Enable a JSEProject to be Ivy extended.
2 Be able to select an ivy descriptor file :
   - and provide the compile classpath after ivy resolution.
   - display ivy artifacts in a library node
3 Be able to provide an ivy extended build.xml file .

Other features that can appear in this Milestone :
4 - Ivy.xml file editing
5 - Be able to select a settings file
6 - provide an Ivy files node

Other feature that I think it can appear later :
7 add libraries action in contextual menu
8 settings.xml file extended.
9 handling ivy Configuration (mapping configuration with netbeans compile, test, runtime scope).
10 resolving and downloading of artifact sources and javadocs
...

The first and the second points seems to work, I am working on the third.

What do you think ?

Laurent.

This sounds like a good feature set for a first milestone. The only point I'm wondering about is #5. This is useful in many cases, and having an Ivy enabled project only with Ivy default settings is rather limiting. But it's only a first milestone, which would let people try it out and give feedback, so maybe we can let #5 for later if it takes too long to implement.

Hi Xavier,

Ok for the settings #5. I think it will not take so long.

I am adding another one  :
3a  an option panel for setting the ivy home .
