“Spring Festival,” (Pinyin: Chūn Jié), is the most important festivity in China. So important like Christmas for western. But It’s not a religion festival. It’s a 15 days celebration of switch of lunar year. The year of Rabbit is running away and the year of Dragon is flying close.
22.01 is Chinese Silvester. It ‘s called Chu Xi. The most important day of 15 days Spring Festival.
Traditionally we cook JiaoZi (Dampling/frische Mautasche) and have very rich silvester dinner with family in China.
Now let’s celebrate it in a very nice cooking studio “Koch Dich Glücklich” in city center with several Chinese friends (together about 25 persons)
You’ll see how to cook JiaoZi and DIY (please make one with your own stuffing such like chili, cheese, mazipan, chocolate…)
Have fun together, Happy Dragon Year!
