After a long break, it is our pleasure to announce the 1.13.0 release. The main focus of this release was improving compatibility with recent jQuery versions so we postponed most breaking changes like removal of deprecated APIs and removal of legacy browser support to a possible future release.
Usage of deprecated jQuery APIs have been removed. jQuery UI 1.13 triggers no jQuery Migrate warnings when running its test suite against jQuery 3.6.0 with jQuery Migrate 3.3.2, i.e. the latest versions at the moment of this release.
The packages were compiled with Visual Studio 2015 with Intel's MKL libraries. I make no claim of backwards compatibility, but both packages seem to import fine in previous versions of 64 bit Maya all the way to 2014.
Hi. It would be awesome if You could make a tutorial on building Python packages from source on Windows. This was always very easy to do on Linux, but soon I'll probably try to build all packages I use on Linux in Maya (Numpy, Scipy, Cython, Matplotlib, Numba, Numbapro, PyOpenCL, PyCUDA, PyOpenGL...) on Windows, but I'm sure there will be a lot of issues. Tutorial or at least some hints about potential problems could be very helpful. Before I even started I realized that Python and it's packages have to be built with the same version of Visual Studio used for building Autodesk Maya. Numpy should be a good introduction. It is written in C, Python and Fortran. After that dealing with LLVM and NVCC on Windows will be a lot easier. Btw, I'm sure a lot of people want to install some Python packages and use it in Maya, so this info could be quite helpful.
I found your post all the way back from 2015 and was wondering if it was still relevant for latest versions of Maya, thanks a lot for doing this. But I'm getting a "numpy-1.13.1+mkl-cp27-none-win_amd64.whl is not a supported wheel on this platform". From what I read, you get this error if you have a different version of Python, but yours clearly states 2.7 which I have as well. I guess installing a distribution like
numpy.org suggested in the first place was the better path to take.
Thanks for these compiles, they work with 3ds Max too, it's a shame Autodesk don't have a centralised repo where builds can be stored and shared. There's a lot of people re-doing the same work over and over again, and it's not easy stuff to do!
You can install packages to either the Maya site-packages directory or to your user space. You will need Administrator privileges on Windows, or super user privileges on macOS and Linux, to install packages in the Maya site-packages directory. I installed a few Maya 2022 packages recently for my chatbot development services project.
Clip Studio Paint recently announced that on December 6th , 2022 they will add an AI feature based on the Stable Diffusion model in their upcoming 1.13.0 Update. More information is found in their Twitter Post about this.
The question is- Fellow artists, especially those who use CSP, your thoughts on this? This basically is involving AI art , similar to what DeviantArt is going for (I am sure most know how THAT went)
UPDATE 12/2/2022: Clip Studio Paint announced in a tweet that they will be canceling the AI feature , lets hope they stick to their words! It is recommended to focus the discussion more onto this AI feature cancelation since CSP actually listened to the protests of the user base!
aatrox WAIT CAN YOU TEACH ME HOW TO PIRATE IT? My free license is about to run out and I do want to have it to last at least long enough to draw my webcomic for release until I can find another program to get used to ?
With this and the subscription payment fiasco, I'm starting to become less and less embarrassed at how I pirated CSP. I clicked on this thread thinking whatever it is couldn't be that bad, and I can't believe I've been proven wrong somehow.
While it's already too late for me to pirate, as I spent money on CSP a long time ago (Like one or two years give or take. It was way before this whole thing), I would like to return to the art programs that haven't hurt me (FireAlpaca, my beloved). The problem is that CSP has the vector layer feature and it has been super helpful for the lineart my art! ;; Like, if FireAlpaca has the vector layer feature than this would've been 1000 times easier for me to break up with CSP
Can you actually import CSP brushes into SAI? And is SAI good for making webcomics? Does it have a vector layer feature similar to CSP? I keep hearing you all talk how good SAI is, so I might consider getting it- Just need these questions answered. Again, I have no notifs turned on for this thread, so ping me when responding! Thanks!
From Clip Studio Paint Ver. 2.0.0 onwards, some default sub tool settings have changed.
In Ver. 2.0.0, Perceptual color mixing has been added and provides more brilliant and realistic mixing results than the previous "Standard" mixing.
This material pack contains 19 sub tools (Pencil, Brush, and Blending tools) in their original default settings from Ver.1.13.2 and earlier.
Please download this pack if you want a default color mixing tool with "Standard" mixing.
I am experiencing a serious problem. Everything went fine in my project for month. Yesterday when I "Transfer to Controller" (like I use to do several time a day) I got this Message : "Build is not complete. Process was aborted". So I build again, I Rebuild controler, I restart SysmacStudio, restart the computer, reset the hardware on the project ... nothing worked. Always the same message. So I opened a previous version of my code. Since it was allready built when saved, I had no problem transfering it in the controler. However, the moment I change a line (have to rebuild) on this backed up version... same problem appear. I finally got to the "output windows" (Alt+3) where I saw ALL build are failed. I've contacted my Omron representative and he is trying to help but he seem as lost as I am. Please help if you can, I am using Sysmac Studio 1.13 on Windows 10.
And I believe there were known "build issues" with this old version so you should just have to update to the latest version. European registered users can always download the latest disk image from their Software Download Area see-> How Do I Update Sysmac Studio?
After debugging my website in Visual Studio 2015, I can visit it via localhost:50544. I would like to visit my website on a different computer from which it is being served upon that is also on the same network. To do this I should be able to visit that computers address which is
192.168.1.13:50544.
In Visual Studio 2015 the applicationhost.config is located it the folder in the project itself. Esc MyProjectName\.vs\config, note that the .vs folder may be hidden. Change the Ip from there, not IISExpress folder.
Secondly IIS and IIS Express are essentially the same product. IIS Express has been tweaked so that non-administrators can run IIS on developer PC's where they might not have full local admin rights. Despite this, both IIS and IIS Express use the same applicationHost.config file formats, and this means that the bindingInformation attribute format is exactly the same for both products.
This will make your application can be accessed from all machine with the same network. Do note also for me I need to run visual studio as admin as well. It may not be true for your case.
It appears that I needed to manually sync the gradle file. If you are having the same problem you can manually sync it by hovering over Implementation 'org.jsoup:jsoup:1.13.1' and click on the yellow light bulb on the side of android studio.
Thanks for responding. Studio 5000 is presenting yellow question mark. The error is that device is firmware 1.13 and is requesting to register EDS. When EDS version 1.11 is inspected the device version is stated as Major 1 minor 9. This creates a version
mismatch between the EDS file device version and the actual version detected in Rockwell Software.
I noticed that the STLink Server installed was version 2.1.1, while on ST website, the latest version is 2.1.0. This 2.1.1 version should have been installed with the new IDE version but it's weird that not even ST lists it.
So, I uninstalled version 2.1.1 (via windows Add or Remove programs, but made a backup first) and installed the known 2.1.0 version. After a couple of reboots, seems to be working and I can now see the stlinkserver.exe in the task manager. If anything, it only seems a bit slower (but better than not working ).
For the installations details, it show the path of the installation that has not been changed
since you updated from CubeIDE v1.7 to 1.13.2,
for the STLink can you try to upgrade the STlink from Help>ST-Link Upgrade or verify your cable.
Regarding the mismatch in installation details from my previous reply, that was because I was running the 1.7 IDE (which shows version 1.13.2 and points at all the 1.7 version plugins). Opening version 1.13.2 IDE seems to show the version/paths that I was expecting.
It's weird that with the upgrade both versions coexist at the same time. The problem is still not fixed and I can't program the Nucleo board using the IDE. I've noticed in other posts people referring to the stlinkserver.exe process in the task manager, I cannot see this process here. I wonder if there is some conflict after the upgrade.
