Current state of nested transactions

Hi,

Do you know the current state of allowing nested transactions in DeuceSTM? I know that, currently, flat-nesting is used.

I am looking at extending org.deuce.transform.asm to allow for explicit nested transactions (adding extra code to the start and end of the nested transaction), and was wondering who else is exploring this problem.

I know that there was some work on this issue. You should check the forks, perhaps one of them did it.
