It looks like connected, but the whole screen is blank and the mouse cursor become hourglass then about 1 minute later, lost connection. Then trying to re-establish the connection, but the screen is still black. This time mouse cursor even stuck and not showing in the screen.

I have the same problem. The old version of mstsc (windows 10 1709, windows 7, Android version) can connect smoothly. However, the mstsc of windows 10 1809 cannot connect. While connected, the screen freeze.

I've got the same problem. I tried to log into my remote PC yesterday (both local & remote have been upgraded to 1809). Out of 5 attempts one was successful - the other 4 attempts resulted in the screen freezing in one form or another).

One thing that seemed odd was that I was able to remote desktop using a machine on the local network, but not over a vpn connection (and I did check the vpn was working correctly by connecting to other machines that were not updated to 1809).

Was the 1809 system the remote. or was it initiating the Remote Desktop? What version was the remote system? I have an 1809 system that can connect to an 1803 system fine. And, the 1803 can connect to 1809 fine.

Finland had been part of Sweden since 1323, when another peace treaty between Novgorod (Russia) and Sweden, the Peace of Phkinsaari or Treaty of Nteborg, was signed. Then in 1809, following the Napoleonic wars, Sweden lost Finland to Russia in the Russian-Swedish War of 1808-1809, and Finland became officially known as the Grand Duchy of Finland. Article five of the peace treaty set out the new borders between Sweden and Russia, whereby Finland and the land islands became Russian terriotry. The Russian Tsar, Alexander I, promised to let Finland keep its law, language, and religion. A promise that was largely kept; for example, Finland kept the Law of 1734, the Swedish-Finnish Civil Code.

One visible effect of the transfer of Finland to Russia in 1909 can be seen in our Finnish law collection. Laws from this period (1810 through 1917) are produced in three languages, Finnish, Russian, and Swedish, then the three official languages of Finland. Still today, Swedish remains an official language of Finland, and Swedish-speaking Finns (Finlandssvenskar) make up approximately 5% of the population. land is a Swedish-speaking, autonomous, and demilitarized, region of Finland.

The State Board for Vocational Education (State Board) adopts this policy for the purpose of establishing procedures for the consideration and decision of appeals taken to the State Board under section 1809 of the Public School Code of 1949, 24 P.S. 18-1809 (relating to attendance in other districts and other states; pupils from other states).

Under section 1809(a) of the Public School Code, any resident of a school district that does not maintain an approved vocational industrial, vocational agricultural, vocational homemaking, or vocational distributive occupational education day, part-time, or evening class, school or department, offering the type of training that he desires, may make application to the board of school directors of any other school district for admission to such school or department maintained by that board. See 24 P.S. 18-1809(a).

If a school board refuses the application for admission of a non-resident for admission to a vocational education school or department, the applicant may apply to the State Board for Vocational Education for admission to that school or department. The State Board may approve or disapprove the application. Id.

In making its decision, the State Board must take into consideration the opportunities for free vocational training in the community in which the applicant resides; the financial status of the community; the age, preparation, aptitude and previous record of the applicant; and all other relevant circumstances. The decision of the State Board is final. Id.

As Superintendent of Indian Affairs Governor Harrison enthusiastically implemented the aggressive policy of land acquisition authorized by the federal government. It was a case of hunting grounds versus cornfields. Indiana could not become a state so long as the Indians retained title. By a judicious mixture of persuasion and pressure Harrison secured the cession of approximately one-third of Indiana in a series of treaties from 1803 to 1809. In a treaty at Fort Wayne with "the Delawares, Putawatimies, Miamies, and Eel River Miamies" in the fall of 1809, he secured three million acres at an immediate cost of about one-third of a cent per acre. Indian opposition to cessions, led by Tecumseh and the Prophet, became increasingly bitter. As a result of the Treaty of 1809 Indian relations progressively deteriorated until Tecumseh's power was broken at the Battle of Tippecanoe. (24)

JAMES MADISON, President of the United States, by William Henry Harrison, governor and commander-in-chief of the Indiana territory, superintendent of Indian affairs, and commissioner plenipotentiary of the United States for treating with the said Indian tribes, and the Sachems, Head men and Warriors of the Delaware, Putawatame, Miami and Eel River tribes of Indians, have agreed and concluded upon the following treaty; which, when ratified by the said President, with the advice and consent of the Senate of the United States, shall be binding on said parties.

ART. 1st. The Miami and Eel River tribes, and the Delawares and Putawatimies, as their allies, agree to cede to the United States all that tract of country which shall be included between the boundary line established by the treaty of Fort Wayne [1803], the Wabash, and a line to be drawn from the mouth of a creek called Racoon Creek, emptying into the Wabash, on the south-east side, about twelve miles below the mouth of the Vermilion river, so as to strike the boundary line established by the treaty of Grouseland, at such a distance from its commencement at the north-east corner of the Vincennes tract, as will leave the tract now ceded thirty miles wide at the narrowest place. And also all that tract which shall be included between the following boundaries, viz.: beginning at Fort Recovery, thence southwardly along the general boundary line, established by the treaty of Greenville, to its intersection with the boundary line established by the treaty of Grouseland; thence along said line to a point from which a line drawn parallel to the first mentioned line will be twelve miles distant from the same, and along the said parallel line to its intersection with a line to be drawn from Fort Recovery, parallel to the line established by the said treaty of Grouseland.
