Congratulation to Sigal Hemy Our executive director for the Detroit Parks Coalition has been named Crain's Detroit 40 UNDER 40.  Congratulations on a job well done! Coordinated the leadership of 10 park-serving organizations. Secured more than 1.5 million dollars in funding in her first year, including 500k for capital development in Detroit parks. Oversaw the partnership with the Detroit Pistons and their Neighbors Program, which offered programming in 5 neighborhood parks. Organized a series of Arts and Music festivals in multiple Detroit'sneighborhood parks. Creating partnerships that serve more than 5,000 people across the City of Detroit.
