2012 Trizest Sichuan meal redux - September

I am organizing another Sichuan authentic meal at Trizest on either 8 or 15 September at 7pm (both Saturdays). It will be $20 pp for 12 dishes tip and tax included. Water and tea are included but soft drinks are a la carte. We had 16 dishes for $25 last year and most commented there were too many of a good thing.  I took last years menu and kept won tons in chili sauce and mongolian lamb but asked Ming to suggest 10 more dishes that "grandma used to make".

 

This is an alumni only invitation so there will be no CH post therefore only previous Detroit Chow refugees can be in (and guests). Goatgolfer, Rainsux+1, VTB + 1, Boagman + ? are already in and we need 8 to go (have 6 already)  and up to 16 total.

 

Gan: you had some special request last year and I couldn't find it. If you're planning to come call Ming at Trizest and tell her you are in the party and hope they can include (some little fried bone in birdy ???) as well on the menu.

 

Reply to date first if interested then yes or no when I announce the most popular date which I will do by Wed.

The date for the Trizest dinner is 8 September at 7pm. Cost is $20pp.

The menu is evolving and will be published in advance but spicy and
authentic are the goals.

At the moment we have 19 attendees. I don't think that's going to be a
problem but if you confirm to me I will prepay your bill and you are
on the hook (so to speak) . Since it is still one month away the no
changes allowed date will be 18th August at 5pm.
