What sadist schedules night games in Minnesota in early April?
Baseball isn't supposed to be played in 20 degree temps.

Casey Mize didn't pitch that well last night, but getting a good grip on the ball in those temps must be tough.
The Twins' starter, Joe Ryan, who is a good pitcher, wasn't that good either.  He struggled with his control and threw a lot of pitches in his 5 innings.

Tigers had plenty of opportunities to score more than 3 runs last night but failed with some bad at-bats.

The aforementioned Tork also had this base running gaffe at the start of a potential rally. No idea how he got down to second base so fast when normally he isn’t that speedy on the base paths :-)

I didn’t follow much of the game, but I understand Vierling made a key error in the OF.

In general, there has been some sloppy play for the Tigers in these first 10 games and it brings me back to Hinch yet again. The genius is supposed to at least get his team to have the fundamentals down by Year 5 or whatever it is. Certainly the continued obsession with moving people around positions can’t help in this regard. Broken record here.

Vierling also had some bad at-bats last night with runners on base.

Tigers' fielding has been very questionable in the first 10 games.

Tork has run himself out on the bases a couple of times this season so far.  The guy draws a lot of walks so he's on first base often, but he really needs to know his limitations on the bases.
