I think there's a decent chance we'll get close to equal production at 3B in 2026 as the Cubs get out of Bregman, especially if Colt Keith takes another step forward as a hitter.

Bregman was never going to sign with the Tigers unless the Tigers offered him some ridiculous offer.  He preferred more hitter-friendly ballparks to play in, especially for righty hitters.

If Bregman is worth $35 million a year, wouldn't Skubal be worth at least $32 million per year?

$35 million per season for Bregman is ridiculous.  Cubs must have money to burn.

It would be funny if Keith/McKinstry/Anderson/McGonigle out-produces Bregman.
