The Padres' 3 star hitters have been awful this season, but their team is still 10 games above .500 and half a game behind the Dodgers.
Tatis, Jr. still has 0 homers, only 9 RBIs, and has a .572 OPS.
Machado is hitting .181 with a .605 OPS.
Merrill is hitting .203 with a .597 OPS.
Weird season for those guys. (What's really weird is that Tatis, Jr. hits the ball harder than nearly all other MLB hitters, and he's got almost nothing to show for it).
How about Tork and Clark to the Padres for Tatis, Jr. and Merrill? We can throw in Max Anderson. ;-)
