Ty Madden made a rehab start for Toledo on Monday and allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 4.1 IP with 3 walks and 3 Ks in Toledo's 3-2 win vs. Columbus.

Sawyer Gipson-Long pitched 4 innings in relief, allowing 1 run on 3 hits with 1 walk and 1 K to lower his ERA to 4.85.  

SGL just hasn't been the same since his Tommy John surgery.  He actually looked fairly promising in 2023, but he was terrible in his stint with the Tigers last year and hasn't been that effective in the minors the past 2 years.  He was injured earlier this season as well.

Max Clark was 0-3 with a walk.  Clark's walk led off the bottom of the 9^th and he eventually scored the tying run, and then the Mud Hens walked it off with an RBI single from DH Cal Stevenson.

C Eduardo Valencia hit his 9^th homer of the season.  Valencia is hitting .240/.321/.429.  He hit .319/.405/.625 for Toledo last year.

The FCL Tigers won 8-1 vs. the FCL Phillies on Monday.

19-year-old RF Cristian Perez was 2-4 with his 4^th homer, a double, and 3 RBIs.

18-year-old CF Cris Rodriguez was 2-3 with a double, a walk and a stolen base.
