Fwd: Why World Series could start with a homer

This sort of cracks me up.  For the last 2 weeks, virtually every day there has been a Tigers story among the top headlines from this MLB Daily blast even though of course they were eliminated 2 weeks ago.    

All the other headlines have been about the ALCS/NLCS and now of course the World Series matchup but there is almost always a Tiger story - but no other team that isn't still playing.  It's like there is someone from the Tigers organization or Detroit media who has made the editorial staff.

They're getting more comical each day...Today below we have all the World Series storylines, 2 Managerial announcements...and of course more important than virtually all of them in the pecking order - what Melton's role might be on the Tigers staff next season :-)
