> Cleveland Guardians 3, Detroit Tigers 2 - final in 10 innings.

This game was still scoreless at the Seventh Inning Stretch.

In the bottom of the seventh, Kevin McGonigle walked, went to third base on a single by Riley Greene, and scored on a sacrifice fly by Matt Vierling.

In the top of the ninth, Daniel Schneemann singled, Travis Bazzana singled, the runners advanced on a sacrifice bunt by Steven Kwan, and Mr. Schneermann scored on a ground out by Patrick Bailey.

In the bottom of the ninth, Kevin McGonigle walked on four pitches, then Dillon Dingler also walked with none out.  Then, Riley Greene struck out looking ("He stood there like the house by the side of the road, and watched that pitch go by."), and Matt Vierling and Wenceel Perez struck out swinging.

In the top of the tenth, Bryan Rocchio was placed on second base, Angel Martinez tripled to drive in Mr. Rocchio, and Jose Ramirez doubled to drive in Mr. Martinez.

In the bottom of the tenth, Wenceel Perez started the inning on second base, and Zach McKinstry singled to drive in Mr. Perez.

The Tigers have lost five games in a row, and eleven of their last twelve games.  The Tigers are on the verge of being swept at home by their main division rival.  The Tigers are disappointing their fans.

This series concludes this afternoon, with a matinee game.
