> Minnesota Twins 8, Detroit Tigers 6 - final

 The Twins scored six runs in the bottom of the first inning, and held on to beat the Tigers, 8-6.

In the bottom of the first, Byron Buxton singled, Austin Martin was hit by a pitch, Luke Kearschall was safe on a fielding error by Javy Baez, Mr. Buxton scored on a wild pitch, Mr. Martin scored on a ground out, Victor Caratini walked, Josh Bell sisngled to drive in Mr. Keaschall, Matt Wallner doubled to drive in Mr. Caratini, and Royce Lewis singled to drive in Mr. Bell and Mr. Wallner.  That was six runs, all earned, and all charged to Framber Valdez.

In the bottom of the fourth, Byron Buxton singled, went to second on a ground out, and scored on a single by Luke Keaschall.

In the top of the eighth, Colt Keith doubled, Gleyber Torres singled, Kerry Carpenter singled to drive in Mr. Keith, and Dillon Dingler singled to drive in Mr. Torres.

In the bottom of the sixth, Byron Buxton doubled, went to third base on a single by Austin Martin, and scored as the Tigers caught Austin Martin in a run-down while attempting to steal second base.

In the top of the seventh, Javy Baez singled, Kevin McGonigle singled, Gleyber Torres doubled to drive in Mr. Baez and Mr. McGonigle, Riley Greene singled to drive in Mr. Torres, Dillon Dingler singled, and Mr. Greene scored on a wild pitch.

The series concludes this afternoon.
