A three-run rally in the bottom of the third inning wiped out an early 2-0 lead by the Tigers.  The Tigers scored two runs in the top of the fourth inning to retake the lead, but the Orioles had another three-run rally in the bottom of the fourth, and the Tigers never led again in this game.

Kevin McGonigle led off the top of the first with a home run on the first pitch of the game.

In the top of the third, Gage Workman doubled, and scored on a double by Hao0-Yu Lee.

In the top of the third, Jackson Holliday singled, Gunnar Hendeerson was safe on a throwing error by Kevin McGonigle, and Pete Alonzo homered to drive in Mr. Holliday and Mr. Henderson.

In thee top of the fourth, Riley Greene singled, Spencewr Torkelson hit a ground-rule double, Mr. Greene scored on a fielder's choice off the bat of Zach McKinstry, and Mr. Torkelson scored on a single by Hao-Yu Lee.

In the bottom of the fourth, Lendy Taveras singled, Colton Cowser singled, Mr. Taveras scored on a balk, and Jackson Holliday homered to drive in Mr. Cowser.

In the bottom of the sixth, Gunnar Henderson singled, went to third base on a single by Adley Rutschman, and scored on a sacrifice fly by Pete Alonso.

This was the seventh loss in a row for the Tigers.  Their game on Saturday was postponed by rain, they lost the matinee of a split doubleheader on Sunday, but won the nightcap.
