The Royals scored two runs in the bottom of the eighth to win this game.
The Tigers scored their run int he top of the third, when Dillon Dingler singled, Trey Sweeney singled, Mr. Dingler was out at the plate on a fielder's choice on a grounder by Andy Ibanez, and Gleyber Torres singled to drive in Mr. Sweeney.
Maikel Garcia homered in the bottom of the fourth, to tie the game.
In the bottom of the eighth, Tyler Tolbert walked, and Bobby Witt Jr. homered. That home run was the difference in this game.
The Tigers would win on Sunday, but lose on Monday and Tuesday.
