Another solid start from Montero tonight as the Tigers win 5-1.

The Tigers rocked Rangers' starter Kumar Rocker for 5 runs in 2 IP and chased him from the game. Dingler with a 3-run homer being the big hit.

The Tigers' bats fell asleep against the Rangers' bullpen after that, but Montero and Anderson kept the Rangers in check.

Nice to see Montero becoming a reliable #4/#5-type starter. I still think his future might be as a high-leverage reliever, but he's making a case to stay in the rotation.
