> Houston Astros 7, Detroit Tigers 5 - final in 10 innings

The Tigers jumped out a to a 2-0 lead in the second inning, and expanded it to 3-0 by the end of the fifth.  But the game was a 3-3 tie at the end of the ninth.  In the tenth, the Astros scored four runs, and the Tigers scored two.

In the bottom of the second, Kerry Carpenter singled, and Zach McKinstry homered.

In the bottom of the fifth, Kevin McGonigle walked, went to second on a ground out, and scored on a fielding error by Raynel Delgado.

In the top of the seventh, Jake Meyers was safe on a missed catch error by Colt Keith at first base, then Raynel Delgado homered.

Isaac Paredes homered leading off the eighth.

In the top of the tenth, Jeremy Pena was placed on second base, Yordan Alvarez walked, Isaac Paredes singled to drive in Mr. Pena, and Christian Walker homered to drive in Mr. Alvarez and Mr. Paredes.

In the bottom of the tenth, Riley Greene started the inning on second base, and Spencer Torkelson homered.

The Tigers moved on to New York City, where they won on Monday and on Tuesday.
