It's too bad Mario and Rod couldn't keep their dislike for each other out of the public eye. They got annoying at times but way better than what we have now.

I wonder if his voice could be something to do with his
Parkinson's?

By the way, Baddoo has such a good eye at the plate I trust his judgment more than any ump's. Hopefully Badoo will get more respect in the future.

I thought that same at bat was interesting for another reason. Baddoo saw six pitches. All of them were outside. Two of them nicked the outside corner, and according to the ump, a third one did too. If you looked at the box score and saw that Baddoo homered and struck out twice you might think he was up there hacking. The interesting thing is that Baddoo didn’t swing at any of the six pitches. Just watched six pitches go by. Here’s a guy, a rookie no less, in the middle of an extra-base hit barrage, and he’s totally patient. You can think of very patient hitters we’ve seen, like Paredes, they still swing sometimes. It was only one at bat, but Baddoo seems to take it to another level.
Best Regards,
Michael
