Max Clark was 2-4 with a double for Toledo on Tuesday in their 6-4 loss at Columbus.

Clark now has a .795 OPS overall and 1.067 OPS in July.

Max Anderson was 2-5 with his 10^th homer and an RBI. Anderson is hitting .310 with a .882 OPS.

I'm on the Max Bandwagon. (Clark isn't likely to be called up until August 14, when he can still retain rookie eligibility next year).

Too bad Max Anderson can't play outfield (he just plays 2B/3B) because I'd like to see him replace Vierling.

By the way, 35-year-old crusty veteran catcher Carlos Perez hit 2 homers for Toledo last night. He has a 2.393 OPS with 4 homers in 3 games. 🙂

Maybe he's all fired up seeing that Jake Rogers got DFA'd and is hoping to get the Tigers' attention.
