Tonight's lineup in Detroit vs. righty Kyle Bradish (3.49 ERA in 20 starts). I expect the Tigers won't be able to do much against Bradish, who keeps the ball on the ground but also can rack up some Ks.

Kerry Carpenter is not playing because of his nagging sore heel issue.
Keider Montero (3.14 ERA in 22 games, 16 starts) is on the mound for the Tigers. I wonder if Montero was in the bullpen instead we might have won a couple of those games the bullpen blew recently. Losing Flaherty to the IL kind of forced Montero back into
the rotation, though.
I like Montero as a starter, but he's probably our best reliever as well.
The O's at 51-55 are kind of in the same boat as the Tigers right now, desperately trying to stay relevant in the playoff race. Time is running out for both teams. If either team gets swept they can probably pack it in for this season.
Peter
