A bit about the Google Web Toolkit:
The Google Web Toolkit (GWT) provides developers with a mechanism to build complex browser-based web applications. GWT is unique in that [almost] all code is written in Java, as opposed to browser supported JavaScript. By abstracting away the difficulties of cross-browser quirks, XMLHttpRequests, and the need for JavaScript expertise, GWT has been proven to increase application performance, developer efficiency, and code organization.
In this talk, Alex Boyd will explore how GWT works and it’s many advantages. Learn how iRule utilizes GWT, specifically, its versatility and performance. This presentation will also include a brief look at the history of GWT, it’s future, and other tools powered by iRule.
