The Detroit Google Developers Group (GDG) proudly presents:

Detroit GDG DevFest 2013 - A jam packed day of Android goodness.

So what is the DevFest all about? 

The Detroit GDG DevFest will consist of a one-day conference where developers meet and work through workshops and sessions related to Android. Confirmed topics at the moment include the new Android Maps API, Decompiling Android, and Android and the Arduino controller. We are also working to potentially line up talks on Android Custom Views and Android Near Field Communications.

Thanks to a sponsorship by Detroit Venture Partners (www.detroitventurepartners.com), we will have the 5th floor of the historic Madison Building for the day. The 5th floor includes a 120-seat auditorium for presentations as well as ample open space for working in small teams to code and learn.  

When: Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 9:00am to 7:00pm
(Computer setup and Android development environment setup from 8:00am to 9:00am)

Hello all:

We are happy to add Nathan Dotz, from Detroit Labs, as a speaker at the Detroit Google Developers Group DevFest 2013. 

Nathan will be leading a workshop on Test Driving your Android code, entitled "Test-Driving Android and Battery-Powered Sheep."

To celebrate the addition of another workshop, and since tomorrow is my Mom's Birthday - we have reduced the price of admission to DevFest to $20 for a limited time.
