Tuesday Night Ride and Rally

This Tuesday from 5:30-7:30, there's a rally in New Center Park to show support for the Detroit Institute of Arts. A few of us will be leaving the DIA at 5:15 to ride over to the park. I will be riding up to Ferndale after the rally. Spike from Mojo in the Morning, 95.5 (?) will emcee and Urban Stringz will perform.

If you don't already know about it, Art Is For Everyone is trying to get YES votes on August 7 for the county arts authorities. These arts authorities will support the DIA with .2 mils of funding, or about $20 for a $200,000 house. The event and Art Is For Everyone are both on Facebook if you need more info.
