Bike to Work Day

Hi everybody. *blows off dust*

Just wanted to get the word out that BTW Day is Friday, May 17 this year and Todd Scott, myself and several others are planning a much bigger version than in previous years. We'll have a catered breakfast reception at Blue Cross Blue Shield's downtown HQ, giveaways, routes coming from the west, North and east sides, and quite likely some good media coverage. There will be more to come, but we're hoping for some good numbers and are counting on many of you to join us.

Yes...I have a number of people riding to Quicken Loans from Ferndale and I haven't seen any details about rides...are we supposed to coordinate these things ourselves or will there be an official route/time to meet?

Here's a Google Map showing the routes and ETAs at key stops.  I believe we're making PDF maps as well.

I like this one better because the ride leaves later :) 6:40am in ferndale is going to make me weep if the google map is correct, but i'll be there regardless. i can also STFU and wait for the official post from Todd on the facebooks.

I'm not sure about that, though. That google map starts at American Cycle and Fitness as well. I doubt there's two separate start times from the same place...I'm guessing that the 7:30 time on the ACF page is superseded by the 6:10 time on the map???

Yeah, I'm not sure where that 7:30 start came from . It's the same ride (and same times) that we've done in the past.

I'll talk with ACF about updating their info.
