Attention cyclists!
There will be a cycling focus group meeting next Wednesday, April
17th at noon to discuss how we can make Woodward more bike friendly.
We'll focus primarily on the portion from McNichols to Ferndale, but
other feedback is welcomed. Lunch will be provided. The location is
the St. James Catholic Church on Woodward in Ferndale (241 Pearson
at Woodward).
There are other opportunities to get involved in the Woodward
Complete Streets project. The attached brochure lists the agenda.
I realize work will prevent many cyclists from attending this one.
However, I suspect we'll have similar meeting later on in
Downtown/Midtown/Highland Park, Royal Oak/Berkley/Huntington
Woods/Pleasant Ridge, Birmingham/Bloomfield, and Pontiac.
Please share this event information with other cyclists. It would
be great if we had a decent turnout.
