I apologize for the late reply, I miss configured my email filter.
Since it is a webservice, it can work with anything that can handle
http requests and responses. The idea is that you don't use a new
library for computer vision, instead you use http. That way calls to
the API can be made from java, ruby, python etc.
This offers support for many platforms.
