There is a setup sh script that can help you with installing the required dependencies. You can find that in github.com/mess110/detection

This sh script is made for ubuntu 10.10

What do you mean installing it as a python module?

Thanks ...  Can u provide a solution ..where i can input images as input and then get co-ordinates of center of face ..without Internet connection ??does this API require Internet ?

Yes the API can work in a private network not connected to the internet. A method of providing those input images needs to be created though.

Hi

I apologize for the late reply, I miss configured my email filter.

Since it is a webservice, it can work with anything that can handle
http requests and responses. The idea is that you don't use a new
library for computer vision, instead you use http. That way calls to
the API can be made from java, ruby, python etc.

This offers support for many platforms.
