While we don't have an API for the notebook yet, we'd love to what you might like to accomplish with it! Are you just thinking about embedding notebooks in your other pages/apps, or are there specific things you'd like to control programmatically, etc.? For the moment we're definitely mostly focused on how people are using the notebook proper, but we at least have half an eye on the use cases for an API, which is obviously an important component of our other tools.

We'd use it as we're using the Desmos Calculator API -- we use that to graph functions mentioned in the reply of our math-education oriented chat service :)  Obviously, for Desmos Notebook API, we're re-work the reply to fit into Notebook "page" structure much like we do with our existing Word/GDoc/PPTX exports.  https://onenoteschool.com/chatoame-%f0%9f%92%97desmos/  One thing that AI lacks are mathematically-appropriate visualizations using existing/known tools (rather than some hodge-podge of generated code) that arise from the mathematics/pedagogical approach that the replies discuss, and the current API does a good job!
