Hi,
Appreciate the creation of the group.
Just recently acquired what I thought was a Desktop Pro as the picture.
It came with no documents/files etc..
New @ OpenPNP and been using your version 2 for connecting and navigating

Mine is a single bottom camera, with a Marlin firmware.
"FIRMWARE_NAME:Marlin bugfix-2.1.x (Mar 22 2024 15:19:55) SOURCE_CODE_URL:github.com/MarlinFirmware/Marlin PROTOCOL_VERSION:1.0 MACHINE_TYPE:3D Printer"

Is this the firmware in other Desktop PRO's.
According to OpenPNP documentation the control board is hmmm.
Thanks
Hector

Hi Hector,
usually the Desktop SMT Pro is with two bottom cameras. Could you post photos to compare? Better be cautious with the firmware if you don't know how it is wired.
Cheers, Jörg

Yes Here is photos of it.  The vendor had a lower cost version (2) camera, as well as the normal 3 camera.  I opted for 2 (1 top 1 bottom) as my needs are not that small or fast.
If I needed a third camera,  I could probably upgrade with another camera as it has the space etc.
.
I asked this question about the firmware as
I was a little confused as the PickSoEasy machine somebody mention, uses the Duet firmware.
I believe the PickSoEasy, SMT-Pro and Opulo V3 use the same processor (stm32f40) as well.
The app and files shared on this group, (Thank you since my machine came without it) (Specifically the machine.xml) show Marlin as well.
So to answer my question I think it is "Desktop SMT-Pro"  and I'm moving forward on this machine.  It is a great starting point.

I have not opened the machine to verify but maybe others could chime in if they have.

Thanks
Hector
