Is anyone running DesktopCouch on Windows succesfuly ? Are there
windows-specific scripts available ? I haven't done my homework
properly yet, but I doubt those python scripts are cross platform :-)

I've found http://www.themacaque.com/?p=372 but that blogpost is 18
months old.

As far as I'm aware, nobody is pursuing this at the moment. Couch
itself is not an excellent Windows citizen, and the desktopcouch
Python scripts are pretty Ubuntu-specific, as you accurately note; a
Windows implementation would want to do things in a Windows-ish way,
like making DC be a service. If you're interested in doing more, we
may be able to give you some pointers...?

Well, maybe. I'm going to play around for a bit first and see what I'm
getting into :-)

I understand you want CouchDB to be implemented as a service, but
isn't this another story for DesktopCouch ?
